Greetings all!
The campaign trail is still alive and growing. I’ll be campaigning from home creating no carbon footprint this weekend while four states have conventions to cast ballots (hopefully for me!).
Here’s info for your state if you are one of the four:

Senate to vote on whether to reject an FCC decision that would let tycoons like Rupert Murdoch set the news agenda.
Over the past six months, more than 250,000 people have urged Congress to stop the FCC from scrapping media ownership limits. Last week, the Senate Commerce Committee took the first step, unanimously approving a “resolution of disapproval” that would reject the FCC’s move.
Now the resolution is going to be voted on by the full Senate, your senators could make the difference!
I just called my senator - kay bailey hutchinson - who rarely does anything i want, but i did it anyway.
here’s a link to get your senator’s information and talking points: https://secure.freepress.net/site/Advocacy?alertId=127&pg=makeACall&JServSessionIdr007=db5xapipq2.app45b
lead pipes banned in 1986, lead paint in the decade or so before, lead toys - still legal.
Urge congress to put the Lead Free Toys Act into law.
